There's a sorrow in the wind
Blowing down the road I've been
I can hear it cry while shadows steal the sun

I bought this album when it came out after hearing one or two tracks on the radio, and I love the whole thing. Levon's voice is so honest and soulful

I saw the Ramble At The Ryman on PBS.Buddy Miller did a beautiful cover this song. The soul & feeling that Larry Campbell puts into his fiddle playing doesn't hurt the song either. Sam Bush's mandolin didn't hurt the song any either. This is one of those songs that is so beautiful that it will make you cry. It's actually one of the songs I want played when I finally walk on to the other side. Oops! There I go with TMI again...I just wanted to say how great that performance was. ;=)

His voice and music are so quintessentially Americana. The best part of The Band.

Don't know why but i just love his voice. It is so unique. Love both his solo stuff and of course everything with The Band.
