Little is known about the current status of the New York band, Lesion (found on the web at www.lesionallevil.com). The site seems to indicated that they were formed in 1998, and they’ve played the New York area in the last couple of years but don’t seem to be active. Band members include Dr. Gustave Hurtz, Venison, Mr. Pod, and Piss Promise.
One might call it heavy metal comedy rock music, with songs like “Clone Boner” (“And much to my surprise/The horror before my eyes/My clone’s boner/Was bigger than mine”), or this reviewer’s personal fave, “Friend in Hell” (“You’ve got a friend in Hell, named The Devil.”)
It’s a lot of fun, they’re decent musicians, definitely worth a listen for people who feel they might like that sort of thing.
