“Better In Time” is a song written by J. R. Rotem and Andrea Martin and produced by Rotem for Leona Lewis’s debut album, Spirit. It is the fourth track on the album, and was released in March 2008 as Lewis’ third single in the United Kingdom, as a double A-side with “
Footprints in the Sand”. It was later released as Lewis’ second international single following her debut hit “Bleeding Love”.
It was originally to be released in the United States on June 17, 2008, but was pushed back to July 15, 2008. As of the end of July/beginning of August, the song has been getting significant pop radio airplay.
