Legion of Parasites were an anarcho-punk band from the 80’s based in Bedford, England.
They released a number of records throughout their time.
They apparently released their first demo in 1982, but it somehow got lost and was never properly released, and released “Deathwatch” demo in 1983, which were followed up by “undesirable guests” in 1984 before they composed their masterpiece “The prison of life” in 1985.

After that they pretty much changed their sound to a more trash metal-like on their last record “Dawn to dust”
They also released a live concert from the 100 club, and figured on numerous compilation records, as “Bollocks to the gonads” by Pax records, “Bullshit Detector vol.2” by Crass records and the “welcome to 1984” and “Anti Capitalism - anarcho-punk compilation vol.4” which chronicled up british anarcho punk during the 80’s. Both on Mortarhate records.
The members later went on to play in bands like Saints of Eden and Sick on the bus.
Rumours wants it they are to release everything they’ve ever made, and that they are gonna re-unite. but its just rumours

Members were:
Cian - Bass, Vocals
Sean - Guitar
Wag - Drums
Scott - Bass on the early works

I've got a mp3 rip from a tape (?) called "Bullshit comp Vol2". I like the songs but the sound of the tape seems to be important because I don't like the versions of these tracks I found on youtube.

[continued...] I also have their PARTY TIME DEMO, which is pretty different from their other demo. It's faster and more frantic, and the playing is tighter and more technical. This demo is less generic than ANOTHER DISASTER and is a pleasure to listen to. Not sure why this band isn't popular as fuck?! For 1983, this shit is fast and hard!

I have their ANOTHERE DISASTER DEMO and it's pretty good. The guitars are a little out of tune, but other than that it is a fine demo. The production is pretty high for a demo of that era, very fitting for the music. Musically they are very generic, UK82 styled punk rock. Fans of Infa Riot, Partisans, Xtract, Actives etc., will enjoy this.
