Biography
Hailing from the Bronx, NY, the trio of Jacks (Guitar), Cristina (Bass) and Murphy (Drums) are one of the most solid rock acts in all of New York City. Very few bands can eclipse them in the energy and the feel that they bring to the stage time and time again.
Jacks is the center piece of the band as her heavy yet bluesy-strat-driven-riffs set the tone for the rock number about to be played. Cristina holds down the bottom end with her drivey bass lines and Murphy, unimaginable from her (approx.) 5 foot frame, provides probably the best rock-snare-hit that is around in all of New York City. Jacks has the optimum rock vocal - from melodious to rap-rock-chant, sonic variety is always there and one cannot help but feel the groove they produce when all of those elements are combined.
Their songs are personal, conceptual, intelligent - and pure.
In an age where layers upon layers of production filters are applied to music, Left in the Attic remains true to the soul of rock ‘n’ roll. Nothing is held back.
