Biography
Lee Wiley (1908-1975) was a Jazz Vocal singer who sang American Songbook tunes in the 1930s through the 1950s. Sometimes called “A Jazz Singer’s Singer), she remains popular to hard-core Jazz fans. She was one of the first artists to record a “songbook” collection (records where all of the songs were written by one composer.)
Her “signature” song was “Manhattan.”
