Biography
Lee Min Woo, born on (July 28, 1979) is one of the members of the Korean boy band Shinhwa. Lee was the fourth member picked for the group. Discovered as a student at JunJoo Fine Arts School, he was performing with his dancing group “Dicky Ducky” at an Everland dancing competition and was spotted by an SM Entertainment scout. As part of Shinhwa, he has contributed to all of their 8 albums and is still a part of the group to this day. However, he also is a star in his own right, releasing two hit solo albums (with a stage name of M) and is also acting in various dramas and movies. As a skilled and trained dancer, he has been positively compared to American R&B superstars Usher Raymond and Justin Timberlake.
Lee Min Woo is no doubt one of the busiest Shinhwa members right now. Last year, he held his “M’s Girlfriend” concerts at the beginning in January, and the “M Liveworks 2006-2007” concerts in December. Now the heated atmosphere of his year-end concert comes alive in this double-disc 19-track combo. Music fans are offered M’s hits in a nutshell with highlights including If you…, “Just like…” (CD 1 - Track 8), Let Me Love U, Bump, Battle, and “Mirage” (CD 1 - Track 4). Also including a cover version of popular singer/songwriter Ne Yo’s So sick and a medley of songs originally sung by the American boy band New Kids On the Block, M Liveworks should keep fans cheering and dancing all the way. Also take note of a cover of Justin Timberlake’s “Sexy back” in that live album.
