About this album

I Hope You Dance is a 2000 album from Lee Ann Womack, released on MCA Nashville Records. Its title track was a crossover hit in 2000, peaking at #1 on both the Country and Adult Contemporary charts and reaching #14 on the Billboard Hot 100. The tracks “Ashes by Now” (a cover of a minor single for Rodney Crowell in the 1970s), “Why They Call It Falling”, and “Does My Ring Burn Your Finger” were all released as singles as well.
