Led to Sea is the solo project of Seattle-based violist Alex Guy. Guy's new album, "Into the Darkening Sky", is a beautiful collection of both orchestral compositions and stripped-down songs for viola, voice and drums. Opening act for Laura Veirs in Hamburg. What a wonderful night! And some amazing music. I bought one of her CDs (Into the Darkening Sky) and don't regret it so far, as it makes me more and more realize how very underrated violas are. Now I even found out that she is playing on "The Cost of Living" by Jason Webley, an album that I once listened to obsessively. This artist needs more scrobbles!

Is it supposed to be Led to Sea or Liz Alex Guy? I've seen both.
