  • This is probably the "proggiest" of Zeppelin's albums. You'd think for that reason it would be my favorite, but it's my least favorite along with Coda. I like JPJ's keyboard work on this, though. Excluding the ending of "Carouselambra", of course.
  • @1nnervision Yeah, I'm with you. I don't have any problem with the styles of music they were trying out here, I just don't like the finished product very much. IMO it's a good thing they stopped when Bonzo died because this isn't a very good album so another record after without the benefit of Bonham's drumming really wouldn't have been pretty. There are some good tracks here but I could go the rest of my life without hearing "All of My Love" and die happy.
  • "Great album. It sucks how some people with closed minds who don't like change can erode an albums standing in music history." LOL what a pretentious comment. So by your logic anyone that disagrees with a band's new sound is automatically close minded. I'm pretty sure that's not what people are saying; people are saying the album is just BAD. Get your head out of your arse.
  • всё-таки хорошо когда музыкальную основу в такой группе хоть на один альбом делает басист.
  • This is their most underrated work now (as LZ III was back in the 70's). Althought I have a issue with the mixing, the album has many things to offer that were't prominent in the past records. Examples are the extensive use of keyboard, which gave the band a much wider scope of music styles, and the maturity of their work, as stated by thebroadcast. The other bad part is the absence of Page in the songwriting, but Jones did a great job taking the lead role. It's my third favorite album after Houses of the Holy and Physical Graffiti.
  • tudo d bom
  • This album has many secrets. One was if you got the album wet it changed. Really wild stuff. I know I was at a after work party when this album came out and a friend poured a beer on part of it and Wow ! I thought he just ruined his album but no it was to show the the effect. I bought the album the very next day. They all grew up making this album, I think the album is more mature than the others. Physical Graffiti is the next closest.
  • a big step down.
  • I never thought Led Zeppelin could be boring until I heard this album. Also, the keyboard sounds like karaoke shit
  • The whole album, including Carouselambra, has the greatest keyboard sound ever.
