Leo and Ant are an unsigned recording/songwriting duo from the UK.

LectroLips was formed in January 2009 and the pair have been releasing songs for free online, steadily gaining exposure amongst music blogs.

Embracing social networking sites (Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, etc) has helped to create a buzz surrounding their music.

Highlights for the duo include winning BBC Radio Berkshire’s ‘The Session Introducing’ Demo Panel with their tracks ‘Superstar (What’s Your Name?)’ and ‘Tough Enough’.

Tom Robinson of BBC 6 Music describes one of their most recent tracks, ‘4 My Pleasure’, as ‘A fresh slice of snappy, close to the knuckle, computer pop’.

LectroLips’ music has so far been used on Hollyoaks, Ch5 STAR UK and WAHL UK’s television commercial campaign.

‘’This hot and buzzing Brit duo serve up a fine slice of 80s inspired electro-pop’’ -

‘’These guys have really worked it out by mixing the old with the new, sculpting out a unique sound that should be all over the place very soon.’’ - A Media Mindset

‘’Their sound echoes early 80s electro-funk, but doesn’t sound dated in any way. These guys have all four feet planted firmly in the here and now.’’ - It’s All Gone POP!

All songs written, produced & arranged by Leo Tarring & Antony Edwards (c). All Rights Reserved.

For some obscure reasons the plays of the new album don't appear in the 'top tracks' section here at the artist page... why is that?
