Le Volcanic Institution are a two piece indie/folk/ambient/lo-fi/psychedelic band from Northumberland, England.
Their music embraces melody and ambiance in conjunction with hazy-eyed verses, vocal harmonies, whistles, ukulele, accordion, guitar and a sampler.
The band have been described to have “the structure of Animal Collective with the sound of Grizzly Bear or Fleet Foxes”.

The band was spawned from a friendship between Jamie-Alexander Adair and Brendon Tron, who decided that they wanted to make music whilst they were studying Filmmaking together in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Their debut EP entitled “Séismique” is due for release August 28th in the UK.
