Laurent Dathie

LAURENT DATHIE also known by his alter ego DIRTNAP is a french producer, DJ and event manager currently residing in Riga and is proud to be part of what he believes to be a revolution in the Latvian electronic dance music scene.

After being involved in the music business as a producer and part time DJ before moving to Latvia, Laurent started his debut as a professional performer and promoter from the time he met and teamed up with none other than the well known and respected local artist Kris Hovel.

Laurent has been building himself a respectful reputation for his quality sets, versatility, professionalism, dedication and passion for his work as well as for being a friendly, social and down to earth person.

He has come a long way starting by joining forces on his residency and collaboration with Kris on both very recognized DANSCOTHEEK since 2007 and THE PENCILHAUS events since 2008, having guest performances from Daniel Steinberg aka Harry Axt, Heinrichs & Hirtenfellner, Sweet’n’Candy, Format:B, Demir & Seymen, Death on the Balcony, Matt Cooper and Billy Nasty to name a few…

This year has been all about taking it to the next level, starting his new event series RELAPSE as well as having his monthly residency TT (TECHNO TAKEOVER) at Club Essential, the biggest club in the baltic states.

2010 will be a big turnover in Laurent’s career with new quality music material to deliver as well as more events, performances, radio shows and many other plans on his journey to share his passion with the world…
