Five women who are more than just the combination of physical beauty and a sweet musical quality that is like sweet nothings whispered in your ear. They don’t just delight: they are pleasing to the eye and the ear at once. Las Ilegales are five women who express the best of Mexican culture playing, dancing and singing the melodies that have forged a cheerful and lively society as that of Mexico.
With more than 15 years in the Grupera genre, Déborah and Gabriela Pastor, founders of the original idea of Las Ilegales, have traveled all over Mexico performing in community theaters, arenas, rodeos, popular dances, bars and nightclubs, teatro de revista (like Vaudeville) like El Blanquito, private gatherings, radio and TV. In such places, the all-female group shared the stage with artists of renoun such as Banda El Recodo, Los Tigres del Norte, Ana Bárbara, laura león, Banda El Mexicano, maribel guardia, Yaguarú, Los Vázquez, Los Yonics, Rigo Domínguez, Banda Machos, Bobby Pulido, Alicia Villareal, among others, headlining various events. In Mexico Las Ilegales have 3 unpublished albums under their belt in the grupero, cumbia, and banda genres, productions in which they were entirely in charge of the musical arrangements and agreements, and the distribution of their work.
