Larry Slezak

Larry Slezak is one of Houston’s great jazz saxophonists, not to mention the country’s. But outside of well-known jazz venues in the southwest, he has seldom been heard in the greater CD audience of today, a loss to jazz fans everywhere. This album NO WORRIES introduces you at long last to his versatility, expressive ideas, energy and mastery on the saxophone, interpreting tunes new and old. Larry and his musical friends have laid down some great tracks, and you are about to share some inspired jazz phrasing, exciting musical colors, and a full range of technical virtuosity by a talented group of soloists.

Larry, glad to see you stepping into the 21st Century. I've been running all around the globe telling people about this smokin' cat back home and now I can back it up ;)

Everyone, thanks so much! I just changed all my tracks to full-length previews. I hope you will enjoy the rest of the tunes too. Also, No Worries is now a free download:

Thanks for adding me. Very envious of you being a player, something I tried but alas found I had little talent.

I saw Larry and his band at Cactus records and they did a long, fantastic set. I bought the CD and have listened to it repeatedly. Love Larry's tune, "No Worries". Larry. Glad to see got the listing for you correct. I contacted them about the larry%20slezak listing to correct it to your name. The larry%20 is still on the site, but hopefully this one will help people find you! Take care Larry! Hope to catch you around town again!
