LARRY KUTCHER is a pianist/composer and studio musician originally from Schenectady, New York, who now lives in Los Angeles.

Larry began his musical odyssey with studying classical violin at the age of six. He moved on from there into the drums and guitar, eventually settling on the piano, with which he could more fully realize and express all the music flowing through him.

He grew up in a strong musical environment, his mother being an opera singer and father being a jazz drummer. From the age of six, Larry listened to a wide variety of composers including Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Debussy, Chopin, Copeland, Stravinsky, and also many great Jazz artists like Duke Ellington, Dave Brubeck, Dizzy Gillespie, Bill Evans, Art Tatum, John Coltrane, and Miles Davis.

Later, progressive rock and jazz fusion artists like Yes, ELP, Genesis, Gentle Giant, Happy The Man, Van der Graaf Generator, Chick Corea, Weather Report, The Mahavishnu Orchestra, and Pat Metheny, fired his imagination into many other genres of music.
