Lark set a precedent by becoming the first African-American spokes model for the “Head & Shoulders” hair care line where she was teamed with internationally famed photographer, Matthew Rolston. Lark also co-hosted “Promiscuity…Laying it on the Line” a teen show for BET, and guest starred in the new “Love Boat” for Spelling Entertainment. 1997 proved to be an exciting time for Lark, who made a big splash as one of MTV’s VJ Disc Jockies on “MTV’s Hotel California” and “Hotel Winter Lodge.”
Gracing the lead on the silver screen, Lark has starred in numorous films such as “How to be a Player” co-starring Bill Bellamy, “How High” starring Methodman & Redman, “Civil Brand” starring Lisa Raye & Tichina Arnold, and a BET Special “Fire & Ice” co-starring Kadeem Hardison. Miss Voorhies most recent film project “The Next Hit” co-starring Fredro Star is due out later this year. Voorhies has formed her own production company, Voorhies Entertainment and has just completed her first film project entitled “The Hope For Pandora’s Box” that she also wrote and executive produced. This budding young starlet is certainly one to watch as she embark’s on her new talent and passion for music, releasing her debut singles entitled ‘Roll with Me’ & ‘Saturday’.
