Landon Gulley began his musical journey at the age of 16 when he started studying the piano. Shortly after begging his studies he was performing at local colleges and music halls. He performed pieces by many classical greats such as Mozart and Beethoven. Although fond of Classical music, he took much more of a liking to the composers of the Romantic era. Performing pieces by Chopin on a regular basis.
It was not until recently that Landon discovered his passion for composing. Although his roots were in Classical and Romantic music he found much more inspiration from modern composers like Philip Glass and Nils Frahm.
Landon is currently working on his debut album, a collection of solo piano pieces based off of the architecture of Frank Gehry, which is scheduled to release early 2011. Along with his debut album Landon is also working on the scores to shorts, films, and anything else he can get his hands on.
