Lake of Blood is a black metal band from Southern California with lyrical themes regarding existence, morality, and isolation. The band has collaborated with other projects such as Panopticon. Influences are drawn from across a vast spectrum of different metal sub-genres and the band combines an aggressive sound with that of an atmospheric approach.

    Dunno what you're talking about; the drums are interesting enough to me. There are enough variations on the standard metal blastbeat to prevent the drumming from getting monotonous. The only problem with the drums is that nearly all their songs are mastered too loud, which results in a clipped drum sound. I went and remastered everything (except the Panopticon split, which I still need to get around to) and it's much punchier now.

    Worst performance I've ever seen @ Blue Cafe in Long Beach. Also the fattest vocalist/person/person-thing, for that matter. No technical issues or anything, just awful fucking music. Piggy has a lot of talent but everyone and everything else is unforgivably bad. Please disband.
