Learn more about scrobbling

Laissez-Fayre is a Brisbane concept rock and pop act, as the brainchild of Dario Western. It is on a mission to market the naturist and nudist lifestyles to the under 40’s audience demographic.

The band has had several line-up changes since it first began in 2001, and have recorded two demo CDs, one in 2006 and the most recent one in 2013.

The act is being formed as a co-ed band in which the majority of the members are female. It draws from a wide variety of contemporary music influences such as commercial pop/rock, rap, funk, dance, jazz, folk, world music, AOR, and even dashings of punk and metal mixed in with some of the songs.

Laissez-Fayre’s first performance was at Grill’d Bulimba for their “Chips & Tunes” open mic nights in late 2011, and the act plans to perform at nudist venues with a view to eventually doing festivals such as Splendour In The Grass and Big Day Out.
