A little-known group from Britain, I discovered them by fluke on Myspace and have the album on repeat ever since. The Ultrasonics' music is very very electropop, with similarities to Lady Gaga, La Roux and Little Boots. The album is full of fun, upbeat eighties-style pop tunes.
Best of the bunch: Go Electro and Perfect Girl.
2. Lady Gaga - The Fame Monster
A stunning follow up album to The Fame and I would say even stronger than her first. The Fame Monster builds on the stylistic sound and steps it up a notch, with some unmissable tunes like Dancing in the Dark and Telephone, and her best single to date Bad Romance. Modern pop at its best.
3. La Roux - La Roux
Debut self-titled album from the British singer (well actually a band but fronted by singer Ellie). …
2 Mar 2010, 23:36 by yosh2008So I was just trawling ITunes store as you do, looking for stuff... and I found all these god awful shitty lullabies for toddlers, all sung by other retard kids.
So I decided "Fuck that, my kid is going to have awesome stuff to sleep to"
So here's what my kid will have on his mix tape, after the woman has left, the novel has failed to sell, and the CD player is all I have left.
I'm aware that these aren't all about sleep and stuff... But these are the greatest songs that make me sleepy so...
1: - Wonderwall
2: - Wishlist
3: - Secret Door
4: - I Need Some Sleep
5: - Liberian Girl
6: - Cover My Eyes
7: - God Only Knows
8: - One Day Like This
9: - You Are My Sunshine
10: - Charlie Darwin

Brandi Carlile - Wasted
But ever time you close a door and nothing opens in its place you've wasted.
And when you speak the words you know to those who know the words themselves you're wasted. You're such a classic waste of cool, so afraid to break the rules in all the wrong places.
Amy MacDonald - L.A
Im always told to be the dreamers kind. Wake up one morning and your dreams are life. Never let them bring you down. Never let them tear me down. I always thought that I would follow you. Every place and everything you do. But Im happy to be by myself. I dont need no one else.
