LI-ION’S SOUL
Branko Trapečar aka LI-ION’S SOUL
started listening to & playing electronic music in his teens. With his comerades he tried to establish his status as a DJ in Slovenia by playing minimal techno. Because of few unfortunate events he had to put DJ-ing on a stand by for a few years. During that time he didn’t become lazy, on the contrary, he upgraded his knowledge of audio and sounds by perfecting his DJ-ing. Now he’s back on the scene with a good knowledge of old school and inspirational influences from the new era, spiced up by an amount of personal effects.
Himself he says he’s a lover of good, quality house music, which is especially noticeable in his choice of songs. He presents himself with 3 promo dj series:
1. DANCING TO THE STATE OF MIND or the “S series” is intended for a bit more demanding audience and made up from different genres of house music; a bit sophisticated, but still energetic.
2. The “T series” is intended for clubbing; the groove is the thing that lifts up the spirit and makes you move.
3. The “Selection series” is intended for his soul mates (smile).
He looks up to Satoshi Tomiie, Pierre Ravan, Nick Warren, Danny Howells and many more intelligent & unique house DJ’s.
*The Groove Brothers**
In a currently formulated creative coalition called *The Groove Brothers**, LI-ION’S SOUL & his younger brother Lusco Marvelous are aiming at mainstream clubs and dance floors, less selective, open party-doers adapted to fiercer more energetic rhythm changes cut with lounge atmospheric pieces that take you to another level.
