L’ODI SOCIAL was a hardcore punk band from Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain), founded in late 1981 under the name of Social Hatred. Remained active until 1992 and they are considered one of the founding groups of the anarchist and hardcore scene of Barcelona area, next to groups like Acció Directa, Monstruacion, Anarkotiks, Anti-Dogmatikss, GRB or Subterranean Kids.1 In this scene, they are reminded, among other reasons, for being one of the first groups that used the Catalan language in his lyrics and titles. During its existence, they released a five-song EP “Que pagui Pujol” (1986), later reissued with bonus tracks as LP and CD, an LP “Esventats” in 1990, and participated in various compilations, most notably these cassettes such as: Nicaragua Rock 10.05.86, where his performance at the festival was collected. His recordings were compiled on CD “Que pagui Pujol + Esventats + Extras” by the label “BCore” in April 2008.
