what's so bad about this album? the bass and guitar riffs really complement each other, and they're fuckin' poetic! and heavy! sonically speaking i'd say this one flows the best even though i love all the albums.

Don't get yer panties in a bunch -- even substandard Kyuss is more enjoyable than most derivative stuff. ATCLT just seems like a bloodless affair at times because of what made the cut.

fuck flashstep. this sits right beside welcome to the sky valley. i dont like 2 songs from this album though. el rodeo and size queen.

Best Kyuss album? Probably the worst, after Wretch. A lot of its songs just go nowhere, and what songs do have good riffs simply repeat them -- they drone instead of sizzle. Where the older instrumentals were great songs in their own right, here it seems apparent that they're included, not for thematic unity, but because there's no better songs to take their place. IMO, Catamaran is the best song on the album...kind of a shame it's back-loaded. =/
