Kyle Elliott and Voodoo Soul are a blues-based rock & soul band from Kansas City, MO with an explosive style! This powerhouse band featuring Kyle’s monster guitar tones and showcases the perfect mix of original blues/funk/soul with modern guitar driven rock, yet a tasteful mix of classic and traditional blues rounds out the set.

A former member of the Boxcar Blues Band and Blackwater Union, Elliott is a veteran of the Kansas City rock and blues scene. His energetic and intense guitar playing is a treat to see live. The new musicians to the group are Rob Bowen on drums, Greg Bush on bass, and Ben Eisiminger, an extremely talented and musically diverse keyboard player.

The addition of Ben Eisiminger on keyboards is the kind of change that could push any band to the forefront of any music scene. Eisiminger has perfromed at Carnegie Hall as a pianist and vocalist, and has accompanied national acts such as Rick James’ Stone City Band, Rodney Adkins, Lonnie Motley of Parliamant Funkadelic and Kid Rock, Tim Alexander of Primus, and the wild musical phenomenon that is Cirque de Soleil. Accomplished drummer Rob Bowen is already well known in Kansas City for his work with the groups Max Groove and Simplexity. Elliott describes Bowens style as energetic fusion, which is highlighted well by the percussive bass style of Greg Bush.

Kyle David Elliott started his musical journey in Kansas City, MO in 1996, at the age of 13. Playing at school dances and private parties, Kyle's unique style began to take shape.

By 1999, he was a regular in Missouri's club scene from Kansas City to Branson playing with local classic rock/blues bands. Kyle formed the blues/rock band Lost Cause when he was 18 and enjoyed regional success with the release of two CDs, one of which was a live concert taken from their second place performance at The Battle of the Bands at Longview College in 2003.

In 2008, Kyle stepped out front as a singer/songwriter/guitarist and formed Kyle Elliott and Voodoo Soul, a fierce blues/rock band with an explosive style. In August, 2010, the band won the King of the Roots: Kansas City competition. As the leader of Voodoo Soul, Kyle Elliott was nominated in the top 50 guitarists worldwide in the Hendrix Revolution by award winning producer Marino De Silva.

Signing with Drive Records in 2011, the band released their debut album "Northern Sky" to rave reviews.
