Es una pena que Kristoffer no continuara con Pain Of Salvation, sin embargo Rust es una obra maestra. Afortunadamente, ahora podremos esperar grandiosos discos tanto de Daniel como de Kristoffer.

Kristoffer's singing voice sounds incredibly similar to his brother. Overwinter reminds me of Pain of Salvation's Never Learn to Fly, especially because of the bass solo. I wonder if that's more than a coincidence. I mean, not like Kristoffer is ripping off that song... it sounds to me like Kristoffer's interpretation of a certain experience that the Gildenlöw brothers lived in their distant childhood or something.

Amazing debut. I'm really impressed by Rust, but some tracks could be left aside, they're just fillers (Langtan, Save My Soul). The title-track and Overwinter are some of the best and most emotional songs I've heard this year.
