German artist Kristina Kanders plays drums and percussion, sings and composes. She lived in New York City for 18 years, studied music and taught university level courses while performing with many different bands, among them percussionist Cyro Baptista, Pizzicato Five, Marc Ribot, John Zorn, David Brosa, Cibo Mato, Kenwood Dennard, Dave Liebman and many others. She lives in Cologne since 2005 where she works exclusively on her own music.

Her solo debut album “For All People” is available in online music stores worldwide.
The second album “Say Something” will be released on January 22. 2010
