Kriipis Tulo, the founder of Kolka Music label, has been featured as a key figure of the Latvian electronic music scene for producing some of the most essential
experimental electronic and ambient music of the past years.
Formerly known as Bongo in middle of 90’s in times of famous Riga dance-punk Yaputhma Sound System, since 1997 Kriipis Tulo has been

working as a sound artist and his experimental electronics projects of the end of 90’s were: Ayahuasca, New Plates. In 2002 Kriipis Tulo completed an EP entitled Ujuja (online released by www.sutemos.net) an estonian for swimming.
