(2001 – present)

“KLOQ” is the musical outlet of Austin Morsley, who should be familiar to many people as part of “Empirion” with whom he released several singles such as “Narcotic Influence” and remixed well-known acts like “The Prodigy”, “Front 242” and “Moby”.

After Empirion, the first KLOQ tracks were released in 2001 through Atomic Records which Oz describes as “…the transition from Empirion to what the KLOQ sound is now.” After producing some other artists he thought about developing the sound and incorporating vocals.

In 2007 KLOQ released their debut single “We’re Just Physical” via Out Of Line. This release featured Douglas McCarthy from “Nitzer Ebb”, delivering his trademark shouts to the energetic sounds which make the dance floors quake.

Their first album “Move Forward” was released in 2008.

KLOQ is: Oz Morsley (producer/writer), with vocal performances by Douglas McCarthy and Greg C.

The change in genre they made in the new record was completely unexpected. 'Begin Again' is not a bad record, I gave it time and now I enjoy it. But it doesn't compare with 'Move Forward'. Jenni is the worst song in the album, lol, maybe if they arranged the songs differently...

@dv8godd : I couldn't agree more. Just listened to "Begin Again" and can't get over it. It's simply terrible. "Move Forward" was great, but this one is so disappointing.

The new album is beyond horrible. Just flabbergastingly terrible. I wish I could un-hear it. Stick with the old stuff... they've gone emo in the worst possible way.

Between the lines of everything and nothing you find the same melody. Between the notes of discord and harmony you´re shouting, you´re shouting to be free.
