Biography

Klammheim is a neofolk-group from Styria, Austria, formed in 2007.

History:
KlammHeim was founded by the end of 2007 by Dea and Alex in their wonderful home Styria. For quite a long time they were searching for appropriate co-musicians. These should be musicians, who shared their interpretation of folk music, they should fit to the original members humanely as well as complete the band reliably. With Max KTG of Jännerwein, an outstanding guitar player, singer and producer was won for KlammHeim. Shortly after Thomas, joined KlammHeim on the drums and percussions as a support and enrichment both in musical and amicable thinking. During the first recording by the turn of the year 2008/2009 Rage (C.L.), who himself carries out active musical projects such as KrankHeid, Rauschform and Rain Of July, completes the music of KlammHeim on the accordion and is responsible for the mixing of our recordings. Alex who previously was active in various other projects, creates the melancholic, lugubrious and characteristic melodies of KlammHeim. He is responsible for 6 and 12 string accoustic guitars, Bass and E-guitar. Dea has longtime experiences in singing for various projects; with KlammHeim she self-actualises and transposes her inner thoughts in lyrics and vocal lines.
