you really think the reverb cutting straight away wasn't intentional? this album wasn't produced by amateurs. It was recorded in Pro Tools. Obviously they liked the effect and didn't let the reverb decay because the decaying end of the effected words would have muddied up the sound of the following words. The loudness war mastering of this album doesn't help this song because it makes the quiet sounds as loud as the loud sounds over exaggerating the effect further. Geez if you're gonna act like you know how to produce at least be able to spot an obvious production trick/technique.

v I just came here to say that very thing. This is one of the few Kings of Leon songs that I think is interesting, but I can't believe that, despite all the money and studio backing they had for this album, they didn't try to hide the cut off on "be there". Terrible.
