About This Track
Cold Desert, though the lead singer, Caleb Followill, doesn’t remember recording this due to him and the rest of the band being drunk at the time, he still found it good enough to make it on the record ‘Only By The Night’. At the time it was recorded, according to Caleb Followill, only the ‘first few lines’ were written, and the rest came directly from his heart. He says when he heard it for the first time, he became very emotional and almost cried.
