Biography

Kingfisherg, from Liège, Belgium, is an electronic musician, who in 2005 released The Heartspray (Carte Postale Records), holding 23 minutes of contemplative and mellow IDM, spread over 10 tracks. His latest album is called Fire Hum.

“François Boulanger used to produce electronic music since the end of the 90’s thanks to a friend who let him a magazine cd sampler with softwares. At the beginning, it was a game for François: he was sampling some Shadows or Simon & Garfunkel records to learn the technic. He joined quickly the belgian collective ‘jaune orange’ under the nickname of KINGFISHERG.
