King Richards is a psychedelic rock and roll band from Vorarlberg (Austria).

Formed in 2006, the band originally consisted of lead singer/guitarist Rex St. Diamond, lead guitarist Hernando F. Galla, Elroy Duce on 3rd guitar, Magic Marvin on Bass and an always changing drummer…

Magic Marvin had himself disappear while Elroy Duce went on to follow a career as a Russian writer, leaving only Rex and Nando as the core of the original group.

Following an only demo-recording in the winter/summer of 2007 they’re about to record their first full length album “The First Crusades - The Magic Kingdom” as well as the short film “The Magic Kingdom”.

Their major influences range from classic rock bands from the 60s such as The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Faces or The Kinks over alternative rock bands from the 80s like The Stone Roses or The Cult to classic blues-rock legends Van Morrison and Ten Years After.

Although their influences seem to be obvious when listening to King Richards, lead singer Rex St. Diamond claims to “sound like Dean Martin, Adriano Celentano and Herb Alpert

Hail Hail King Richards… A never ending story!
