Fatal Portrait is the debut album by King Diamond. The album was released in 1986 on Roadrunner Records. It is the only King Diamond album to date in which guitarist Andy LaRocque does not receive writing credits.

    I'll take a risk and say, that Fatal Portrait is the best LP of King Diamond. [4] I think that Abigail holds together better as an album. However Portrait just sounds evil with its rawer production and the songs are darker sounding. The album cover is the back patch of my denim cutoff :)

    Fucking awesome album King Diamond and Mercyful Fate should be one of the best metal bands ever i wish they could be more famous.... couse it is the best music i ever heard and it keeps the horror stories. People should create a film from one of these!
