Biography
Kim Larsen has been singing from the young age of three, around the time she found out what music and singing really was. She remembers putting together a song at the age of five but no longer can recall what or where it is.
Singing in her Elementary, Middle School, and HS choirs were all she needed to learn how to sing properly and share her talent with locals. She's never been professionally taught one on one and has been called a natural gifted individual.
There are many professional musicians/singers that Kim has looked up to, including, David Bowie, Bette Midler, Julie Andrews, Madonna, Annie Lennox, Fleetwood Mac , Cyndi Lauper, and Cher. There are not that many modern musicians/singers that Kim really finds fascinating besides P!nk and Lady GaGa. Kim thinks that the music industry of today has lost all it's original ethics and soul because she believes that music should be for telling real life stories and experiences, not just made up romances. She believes that the music industry can do a little less with out sex being it's only way to sell.
Kim is just starting to expand her knowledge of the music industry and won a local singing contest in Melbourne, FL. and tried syncing with a local band but has been unsuccessful.
At this point in time, Kim is working on her own material and making sure that it will be heard, also has teamed up with Tim Coons of Atlantic Hill Music.
