Kim Bingham began as the frontwoman of Montreal ska phenomenon Me Mom & Morgentaler, earning her a reputation as a vibrant singer and stage performer.

After making records as Mudgirl for the “”First Book” EP and The Kim Band for “Girlology”, in 2007 she performed and produced two albums: the soundtrack for TV series “Les Invincibles”(Warner Music Canada), and the EP “Intermede” (MMG). That year, Kim also won the Quebec television award Prix Gemeaux for Best TV Theme Song, for “The Heroes Take”, from “Les Invincibles’’ TV series. She also scored the two seasons of the Paris-based production of the same series (on Arte, 2009-2010).

Kim has moonlighted as a featured member of Bran Van 3000 and toured internationally as guitarist and vocalist with Nelly Furtado and Canadian singer David Usher. Her songs have been covered by artists in the US and Europe, resulting in top ten hits.

Kim’s new album “Up!”, a collection of self-penned, upbeat pop-rock songs was recorded in L.A. with producer John Kastner (Doughboys, All Systems Go) and musicians Gene Trautmann (Queens Of The Stone Age, Eagles of Death Metal), Jason Falkner (Jellyfish), and Chris Thorn (Blind Melon), and mixed by Mathias Schneeberger (Joseph Arthur, Burning Brides, Twilight Singers). Additional production on songs “Party Girl” and “Up (Creature Remix)” were done with Creature and friends formerly of The Dears in Montreal.
