The Death of Hipster is the sixth studio album by American Electronica act Kilpanda, released on March 5, 2013, by the newly formed Bear Skin Records. In contrast to the introspective style of production Kilpanda has used on previous records, The Death of Hipster is a high energy album that captures the energy and atmoshere of early to mid nineties Electronica and techno with the slightest hint of breakbeat masterfully laid behind. Every Kilpanda album is it’s own individual musical work of art and The Death of Hipster is promising that that will stay true to form. Each album is different and there is no one genre that defines Kilpanda.
