Version 19

Kiln is a name of, at least, three acts:
1) An American Trio.
2) A Sepänkeskus, Jyväskylä band.
3) An experimental jazz quartet.

1) KILN is an American trio (formly aka Fibreforms & Waterwheel), of Kevin Joseph Hayes (pulse, tump, tick), Kirk Marrison (hue, shape, spark) & Clark Rehberg III (hue, shape, spark), which debuted with The Kiln EP (1997, Roomtone). They’ve built a expansive discography ever since, continuing to explore the intuitive fulcrum of melodic texture & rhythm within the discipline of homegrown headphoponic sound. Their most recent release is Dusker (2007, Ghostly International).

2) Kiln is a band formed in the dark cellars of Sepänkeskus, Jyväskylä in winter 2006. Main target was to create rough, merciless & even brutal kind of metal with some cool rhythms and tunes. After few line-up changes they found the ultimate fruitcake-group.

3) Kiln is an experimental jazz quartet: Jon Corbett, Pete McPhail, Tony More & Colin Potter.
