Biography
Hannover, DE (1997 – present, 2005 – present)
founded in Hannover, DE in 1997 by Marius C Hammerich. Since 2005 Kikai evolves more and more into a solid project with musicians from around the world participating.
while making music for fun the target of Kikai is to support social projects by raising and donating money.
for each public performance or album choosen social projects are announced and all sales will be donated to them.
therefore all contributing artists do it for the cause - not for money.
the music of Kikai is inspired by machines and sounds from the early age of synthesizer music - based on electronic music and freshed up with ambient, pop, ethnic and sonic elements.
collaborating musicians so far: Marius C Hammerich (keys, machines, production), Kimberly Keck (lyrics, voice), Knut Habicht (guitars), Marvin Ayres (strings), Christian Purwien (lyrics), James Eagalwulf (lyrics, vocals), Anemos (lyrics, vocals), Frank Weyzig (guitars,vocals)
