Kid Ego
Biography
Kid Ego is a sleaze metal band from York, England. Taking influence from Aerosmith and Motley Crue, they released their vaguely retro debut album “Ignite the Tide” in May 2006 after being together for a little over a year. Recently, the band wrapped up their first US tour, which culminated in preforming at Cruefest Hollywood.
In 2007 the band’s singer Zakk Taylor, who had performed on the album Ignite The Tide released on Rock Revolution, departed the band and was replaced with new vocalist Henry.
The band takes their name from glam metal/funk metal act Extreme’s song “Kid Ego.”
