April 2005: Elena moves to Los Angeles. Erica is desperately looking for a roommate. They are linked by a dream of taking the town by storm and turning it into one big sweaty dance club.
The Kid is born somewhere east of Hollywood in the warmth of the Cave of Creation. The Kids shed the skin of their former bland personalities and assume a more perfect form. Erica transforms into Giggles, zapping gloomy naysayers with her infectious powerlaugh. Elena transforms into EuroMoxie, adding the dazzling flash of an impulsive St. Tropez holiday to the Moxie sound.
Kid Moxie’s complete genetic makeup is a twisted DNA strand of EuroMoxie’s bass/vox/beatz and Giggles’ keys/violin/vox.
Although the Kid is still very young, it knows how to please. It may not know how to tie its shoelaces yet, but it will tie you into a pretty little knot.
