She Put It In A Cup (hair metal band acoustic ballad parody) (6:13)

Cover of Fits and Starts: Volume Two

From Fits and Starts: Volume Two

In the potentially offensive humor vein of Spinal Tap, Stephen Lynch, South Park, and Flight of the Conchords, “Cup” is a ribald spin on the hair metal band’s hyper-earnest, epic acoustic ballad, where things quiet down and everyone gets a little more sensitive (e.g. Poison’s “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” or L.A. Guns’ “The Ballad of Jayne”). This one’s for the ladies… Co-written by Kevin Cryderman and Graham Coady.

I know! Nothing (ever) is better than "Nice Guy" in terms of his funny stuff, but this comes close.

This is my new favourite. It's about time someone really summed up the state of the world today in a song.
