Home (lo-fi indie folk, with tape hiss) (4:39)

Cover of Fits and Starts: Volume Two

From Fits and Starts: Volume Two

This is archival piece from Cryderman’s early years, a recording of his song “Home” on a micro-cassette recorder and toy microphone. On harmony vocals are long-time friend Alex Randell and bluegrass singer Lorraine Cobb (Mountain Bluebirds, Viper Central). Going under the silly name Folk You As Soul, the three of them would perform Cryderman songs and covers as a busking act in and around Victoria, BC, searching out good acoustic spaces in a variety of locations (and getting kicked out of some of them).
