Emerging from the fertile Boston music scene with the legendary band Moving Targets, Kenny Chambers proved a formidable guitarist/vocalist as well as a fully formed songwriting talent with the Targets debut "Burning in Water". Chambers then proceeded to jump from one ship to the next –Dredd Foole and the Din (featuring members of Mission of Burma and Volcano Suns), Bullet LaVolta, American Pulverizer, solo bands, etc.– racking up in the neighborhood of 20 releases in as many years. After touring the US and Europe with the Targets, LaVolta, and solo, Chambers casually took what has turned out to be an extended break from music activity.

Now playing a number of solo gigs as well as live shows with his band The Stone Strangers (with Leonard Cohen guitarist Bob Metzger), Kenny is preparing to record a batch of rock tunes from his backlog of unreleased songs and playing a number of solo shows on the East Coast. (In Feb. and March 2010 Kenny will be doing a residency stint at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, http://bk.knittingfactory.com/event-details/?tfly_event_id=5151)
