"i" is fine but I wish if Kendrick Lamar could do more of what he did on his verse in Autumn Leaves

Hope "i" will be as it's been for "The Recipe" aKa just a pre-release single made to keep the hype up but which won't be in the actual album (needless to say I loved "The Recipe" far more than "i" tho)

i also don't understand why people seem to think positive messages are a new thing for kendrick. he's always been a conscious rapper with a message -- it's just that his commentary usually runs a little deeper than "love yourself in the face of adversity"

i don't mind experimentation at all, i'd be more likely to be frustrated if he wasn't evolving. but i'm not feeling the new track that much -- the hook isn't very strong and it dominates the song. the production is alright (especially when it changes up towards the end, which is by far the best part of the song).
