    Improvised masterpiece

The title almost says "today I woke up and decided to play...this", as if it's just something he knocked together while munching his cereals. Maybe he did. In any case its absolutely gorgeous, as if Bach was jamming with Lennie Tristano The talented sod ;)

The vamping between F minor and C# during the last few minutes of the main track is the most touching and subtle moment in his solo piano discography for me - I always get a feeling of "calm after the storm", so simple yet it blows my mind.

i wish i could express my feelings about this song, even it is impossible. It has all human emotions in it. A whole life squeezed in 38 mins. Its clear that at the end, Keith chooses to end with full of hope.

Großartig - nervig ist allerdingsdas Gekiekse von Jarrett bei seinen Auftritten.
