Biography

If you think outsized potatoes and dense corn fields are the only remarkable things to come out of Idaho, then you truly ought to think again. Currently residing in Tacoma, WA, this post-hardcore 5 piece, formed in Boise, Idaho in March of 2005. Just after 6 months of being together, Keeping Secrets entered into the 6th annual Boise battle of the bands, and out of 50 bands came out the victor. After their winning, they headed out to start a new in the sea breeze and sun of southern California. Since their start, KS has been on 3 northwest tours, first in 2005, second in 2006, and third in 2008. KS has successfully self financed and self released an agonizingly beautiful 7 song EP. They have had the honor of playing with such bands as Armor for sleep, Alesana, A Static Lullaby, From Autumn to Ashes, and A Day to Remember just to name a few. KS was also hand selected by Guitar Center and Ernie Ball, to be a part of the 2007 Vans Warped Tour and be a Guitar Center featured artist being played on Guitar Center radio nationwide. The devotion and endurance of each one of its members make for performances like you would not believe. No one on earth has seen so much enthusiasm go into everything they do and their love for music just seeps from their pores, making their live shows severe enough to make the hair on the back of your neck stand on end. With that being said, Keeping Secrets is the product of sheer passion, determination, and heart. They ride on the wings of faith.
