I dont know why poeple always wine about artists "not being themselves" in certain album's or "this isn't her anymore...". Bullcrap if you ask me, music evolves, taste evolves etc. YES, EVEN YOURS! Can't expect somebody to make the same music over and over again. That would be boring....

it sounds like they were in a hurry for a new album to be on shelf before some other jazz voices, or something, her voice is good, but the songs are just stupid, anyway, I'd still listen to it but maybe She could come up with better music next time

This album is a huge disappointment. Katie's voice is great, but most of the song lyrics are simply bad. Mary Pickford and If You Were a Sailboat are prime examples of this. This line is completely out of touch with the feel and mood of the some song - If you were a piece of wood, I would nail you to the floor. - Come on! What did the lyricist do, ask for help from his kids???
