Kathryn’s music has been described by Solo Piano Publications as “passionate yet serene” with “a mood of quiet yet intense peacefulness.” Her music has evolved on a spiritual path that hopes for harmony within each individual and reaches out to global peace. Based on the results of scientific auditory research which reveal how emotional resonance can be felt through music, she aspires to evoke a sense of comfort, personal healing and spiritual connection through her music. Kathryn is involved with a non-profit organization called Healing With Harmony, whose philosophy echoes her own, comforting the mind, body and spirit through music.

Her album “Hope for Harmony” was nominated by SoloPiano.com in 2010 for Solo Piano Album of the Year in the Contemporary & Modern Category, and her song “The Smell of Rain” was a winner in the International 2008 Swan Lake: Moving Image & Music Awards in the Animation Category.

Kathryn has also written an article on ”The Spiritual Significance of Music” which was included in a published compilation book, edited by Justin St. Vincent.
